Large figurine of a Fox Terrier. Size: 9.84 inches high, 9.84 inches long and 3.93 inches thick. Excellent condition for this porcelain statue except for a hair-sized crack on one of its front legs. This hair-sized crack is more apparent in the photo than in reality. The price already takes this small flaw into account.
This breed of dog is known throughout the world thanks to Snowy, the famous dog from Tintin. The Adventures of Tintin is a series of comic strips created by the Belgian designer and screenwriter Georges Remi known as Hergé.
Perhaps a gift idea for fans of this comic series or for enthusiasts of this dog breed.
Of British origin, the Fox Terrier is one of the oldest terrier breeds. The first breed standard was developed in 1876. Although the Fox Terrier is today an excellent show and companion dog, it was mainly for hunting that the breed was developed. As its name suggests, its specialty is to flush out the fox hidden in its burrow in order to help hunters.
