Julio Pomar, original lithograph signed and numbered, this is an artist’s proof (EA) numbered with a limited edition of 30 copies. Beyond this special edition for the artist, this work was printed in 175 copies. Title: Ulysses and the two sirens, large dimensions: 35.62 x 25.39 inches. Very good condition. Horizontal format. Sold unframed.

Julio Pomar (1926-2018) is one of the most influential Portuguese artists of the 20th century. Known for his eclecticism and ability to evolve through different artistic styles, he left his mark on modernism and surrealism. Pomar’s works are recognizable by their intense expressiveness, their recurring themes such as the human condition and myths, as well as his distinctive use of color and line.
