Alexandre Loewy, Un libraire dans le siècle / Alexandre Loewy, A Bookseller in the Century (Book) by Claude Blaizot. Hardcover, Like new, Light traces on the cover, Publisher Loudmer. 1996. French language.
The bookseller Alexandre Loewy, 1906-1995. He settled in Paris in 1927 and collaborated with the greatest publishers of his time. Specializing in books illustrated by great artists of the 20th century, he did not hesitate to publish them himself when necessary, and his bookstore on the rue de Seine was the meeting place for generations of bibliophiles. His daughter Florence continues her father’s work today, distributing and publishing books by contemporary artists, accessible to young collectors who may find there the great classics of tomorrow.
