Andy Warhol was pope of pop art. At the end of the 1950s, art in the United States was no longer there to express romance, emotions and interiority.

The pioneer of Pop Art, Andy Warhol has marked a decade and a whole culture, distinguishing himself as one of the most influential, creative and prolific artists of the twentieth century.

Dandy hidden behind big glasses and his white wig, Andy Warhol observes, from 1950, date of his settling in New York, until his death in 1987, a system in the course of disruption. Culture and mass consumption make people crazy.

Fine strategist, he begins with the advertising design with a beautiful fine line and elegant, then sets off to conquer the pictorial scene painting, in the early 60s.

He is now best known for his series of repetitive celebrity images and Campbell soup cans, bottles of Coca-Cola, and dollars, which exalt the beauty of everyday objects and their familiar images. He used screen printing to mass produce an image that was unique in his style.
