This catalog published following the Marie-Thérèse Laurenge donation to the Oise Departmental Museum in 1997 was eagerly awaited by enthusiasts. It has finally been published, and should not disappoint. The collection is composed of neoclassical landscapes, from the Barbizon school and symbolists, but also religious sketches, portraits and still lifes. The drawings and paintings are by well-known artists (Puvis de Chavanne, Théodore Rousseau) but especially by more confidential masters, always represented by quality works.
