François Batet is a Spanish painter and illustrator best known for his work illustrating childhood literature in France as early as 1951.

In 1977, he devoted himself to painting, his favorite theme is the representation of female characters from the 1920s in the Art Deco style. This facility and the taste for the horse allowed him to transpose into his paintings all the subjects on horse racing. With his very particular personality, he gave the most beautiful conquest of man all his letters of nobility. It is also a painting on the theme of the 20s, the mythical “Roaring Twenties”.
