Gérard Laplau, original signed lithograph entitled “au gai pinson” a bar and its village teeming with little characters, size: 19.68 x 14.96 inches. Very good condition. Sold unframed.

No other decor is as colorful and cheerful as that of this collection of naïve design. The scenes representing life in the countryside drawn in 1980 by the French painter Gérard Laplau have greatly contributed to the popularity of naïve art in France as well as Villeroy and Boch porcelain.
