Guillaume Corneille (1922-2010) Dutch painter, engraver, sculptor and ceramist, occupies a prominent place in the European art scene of the second half of the 20th century. His work, marked by lyricism, features the woman (symbol of the earth), the bird (the masculine character and the artist himself) the sun, the snake, as well as omnipresent cats. His very colorful painting declines all the interactions between these elements and tells us stories that our imagination enjoys enriching.
Living in Paris and internationally recognized, he has benefited from numerous exhibitions including a major retrospective on his 50 years of creating prints.
