Jules Van Paemel, 1896-1968, was a Belgian architect and graphic designer better known as an engraver.
Step-son of Grégoire Le Roy – writer and curator of the Wiertz museum in Brussels.

Jules Vanpaemel, in 1928 began a long and fruitful career as an engraver. His work consists of 285 engravings mainly engravings and landscapes. His immense imagination inspired him to numerous compositions teeming with fantastic animals and strange characters. Jules Van Paemel was an artist of international renown.
