Julio Pomar (1926 -2018) was one of the most remarkable Portuguese visual artists of the 20th century. In his work, a multitude of styles of great plastic and humanist richness coexist. His work has been recognized by tributes, prizes and retrospective exhibitions. He lived and worked mainly in Lisbon, a city that hosted his Studio-Museum in 2013, a space for promoting the artist’s work and cultural meetings.
