Marcel Dreyfus, whose artist’s name is Marcel Dyf (1899 – 1985) is a post-impressionist french painter. Very young, he draws and frequents the Louvre.
His Childhood holidays in Normandy forever gave him a taste for sea and marine skies.
He moved to Arles, Provence where his apprenticeship is difficult but so fascinating that he continued his learning in this mythical place, accommodated and supported by numerous intellectuals and friendly notables from Arles.
The painting is currently in Nice, France. It is visible without any difficulty by appointment if you wish.
