Paul Guiramand: a well-known French figurative painter born in 1926, died in 2007. Paul Guiramand belongs to a generation of young painters of the New School of Paris. The painting of Paul Guiramand may seem figurative at first sight, but it is especially poetic. The real is evocative, it is used to translate and produce an emotion. In 1952, he won the Prix de Rome and lives in the Villa Medici from 1953 to 1956 and then he exhibits worldwide and is especially popular in Japan.
