Joël Kermarrec was born in Ostend in Belgium into a French family. His mother Antoinette Labisse is a sculptor; his father Henri-Jean Kermarrec is a bookseller. Currently, he lives and works in Paris.
Research of old provisions. Tenth volume of the Argile collection. The first 120 copies were drawn on Arches vellum and include 4 etchings by Kermarrec, the first 3 of which are signed. The volume presented is part of the print run of 500 copies on laid by Lana Vellum (from 121 to 620) illustrated with drawings by Kermarrec.
