Born in 1933 in Osaka, Japan, Sachiko Imai is a renowned Japanese artist and former professor of foreign affairs. She studied oil painting under Takayuki Tamura Kai and gained early recognition in 1954 with selections for the Ji Ji Kansai and Asahi Art Exhibitions. In 1971, she moved to France to further her studies and was invited to exhibit at the prestigious Salon de Mai in Paris. Her vibrant, elegant works — often featuring floral abundance, romantic scenes, and sophisticated still lifes — are collected worldwide and exhibited in both Japan and France.
