Sonia Delaunay (after), original lithograph signed by her grandson Jean-Louis Delaunay and with an embossed stamp from the Delaunay Foundation. Dimensions: 29.72 x 22.04 inches. Very good condition. Please note, the extreme border is slightly yellowed. (invisible after framing with a mat). Please check photos. Sold as is, unframed.

Sonia Delaunay’s innovative explorations of color and form played a pivotal role in the development of abstract art in the early 20th century. Delaunay incorporated the stylistic concerns of Cubism, Fauvism, and Futurism into her luminous, geometric paintings and prints. She dubbed her style “Orphism” and focused on the possibilities of color combinations.

Please note that all our precious lithographs are carefully rolled, wrapped in tissue paper, and then placed in a special tube for transport so that they arrive at your home in perfect condition. The recipient’s signature upon delivery is required.
