Tal-Coat, Peintures (Book) Editor Maeght. Like new. French texts by Pierre Tal-Coat, Pierre Schneider, Henri Maldiney, André du Bouchet, Charles Estienne.
Tal-Coat, Paintings. Pierre Tal Coat, 1905-1985, is a French painter, engraver and illustrator from the École de Paris.
He abandoned figuration around 1945 and then produced informal works, without however abandoning the close relationship that his art maintains with nature. Tal-Coat meets André Masson and the poet Jean du Bouchet with whom he will remain very close all his life and with whom he will design many illustrated books.
Pierre Tal-Coat paints traces of light and footprints.
