Folgorazioni de Marion-Valentine (Book) Book on Dance, in Italian – Hardcover, Like New, 176 pages, 116 two-color illustrations.

Parisian Marion-Valentine began photography at the age of sixteen, already interested in dance, the image of perfection. She quickly contacted a specialized magazine to learn how to immortalize on film the art of these stars who fascinated her: her first dance photos were published in 1957 in “La Danse.” From then on, Marion-Valentine photographed most Parisian choreographic performances, initially only classical ballet, then all forms of dance. The photographs in this book feature international dance stars such as Rudolf Nureyev, Sylvie Guillem, Nicolas Le Riche, as well as dancers from companies directed by William Forsythe, Maurice Béjart, and Pina Bausch.
