Guillaume Corneille (1922-2010) His creations, based on the expression of color and imbued with lyricism, frequently feature women, the sun, birds, snakes and cats. He manages to capture the raw energy and vitality of life through simplified forms. In 1948, he was one of the co-founders of the international CoBrA movement alongside Karel Appel, Asper Jorn and Christian Dotremont.
