Henry Moore, Heads Figures and ideas. It is possible to sculpt the air (Book) by Henry Moore. New, 2002. Texts in French but with bilingual French/English references under photos. 120 pages. Somogy Editions d’art.

Henry Spencer Moore, 1898-1986, was an English artist. He is best known for his monumental semi-abstract bronze sculptures.

Moore became well known through his sculptures in carved marble and abstract cast bronze on a larger scale, and helped to introduce a particular form of modernism in the United Kingdom. His ability to fill large-scale orders made him exceptionally wealthy. Despite this, he lived frugally; most of the money he earned went to the Henry Moore Foundation, which continues to support education and promotion of the arts.
