Kisling 1891-1953 – Complete Catalogue Raisonné in 3 Volumes. Here is the rare and sought-after catalogue raisonné of Kisling’s work from 1891 to 1953, in three complete volumes, the definitive reference on the painter Moïse Kisling (School of Paris). Published by Jean Kisling, with texts by Joseph Kessel (Volume I – 1989), Henri Troyat (Volume II – 1982), and Jean Dutourd (Volume III – 1995), to which André Salmon has added contributions. The volumes comprise 377, 350, and 448 pages respectively, with numerous color and black and white illustrations. The interiors are in very good condition, almost like new. The covers are in very good condition (a few minor marks). The books are in French. The first two volumes are in their original blue cloth slipcase, the third in a simple slipcase with a slightly bumped corner. A complete set, hard to find in this condition, ideal for collectors, modern art lovers and bibliophiles.
The three volumes were never published simultaneously in a publisher’s boxed set: it is a set formed over the years.
