One of 1000 copies. Two volumes. Nearly 2000 black and white photographic illustrations, color plates. Born as Mane Leyzerovich Kats in Bucharest. He began to draw at an early age and devoted himself very early to painting. he studied art with the painter Iser, a colleague of André Derain. later, he studied at the Polytechnic School of Zurich and established contacts with the artists and writers of the lake Jean Arp and Tristan Tzara. Mané Katz arrived in Paris at the age of 19 to study art, where he worked closely with artists like Picasso and Toulouse Lautrec.
