Manolo Millares, Los Mutilados de Paz, 1963-1965, this exhibition catalog from the Pierre Matisse Gallery, New York, April 1965, presents paintings on canvas and paper by the Spanish painter and printmaker Manolo Millares Sall (born in Las Palmas, Canary Islands, in 1926). It includes twenty-two black and white reproductions, twelve of which are full-page, a portrait of the artist at work, the text “Millares” by Jose-Augusto Franca, biographical information, lists of solo and group exhibitions, information on the artist’s collections, and a study of the pictorial and graphic work “Mutilados de Paz 1965” in relation to his father, Juan Millares Carlo, who was persecuted by the Franco dictatorship. This 32-page stapled booklet is in English and has an illustrated cover with die-cuts. It is dated 1965 and is in very good condition.
