Josep Llorens Artigas (1892-1980) is considered the great reference of artistic ceramics in Catalonia. At the same time, his childhood companion Joan Miró (1893-1983) has become over the years our most universal artist. The work of Llorens Artigas is infinite and unique in its character and singularity, just like that of Miró, a man who, by rooting himself in the land, in the country and in his time, knew how to project himself onto the world.
