Sacha Sosno: Metal Engraving, Élysée Palace, Nice – Limited Edition 15/99

Purchase this limited-edition metal engraving, signed and numbered by Sacha Sosno, one of the leading masters of the School of Nice. This original print from 1993, numbered 15/99, faithfully reproduces the famous facade of the Hôtel Élysée Palace on the Promenade des Anglais (now the AC Hotel Nice by Marriott). Part of the artist’s conceptual series titled “In all things, the interior is better than the exterior,” this collectible contemporary artwork perfectly embodies the sculptor’s signature concept of “obliteration,” featuring his famous monumental bronze Venus integrated into the architecture. A rare opportunity for collectors to acquire a historic piece of Nice’s cultural heritage.

Why choose this work for your collection?
– A unique architectural concept: The presentation, set within an art-style frame, incorporates two wooden panels painted in gray. This high-end mounting simulates the granite of the actual façade and enhances the central, relief-style statue.
– Authentic state of preservation: The vellum paper shows slight, natural foxing consistent with its age—a testament to its authenticity that in no way diminishes the visual impact of the engraving.
– Ready for display: Sold fully framed (measuring 33.85 x 26.18 inches (86 x 66.5 cm), the work comes equipped with a sturdy hanging system, making it ideal for a living room, an executive office, or a gallery space.
