Henri Silberman is an American photographer born in Paris in 1951. He grew up in Brooklyn, New York. He photographs the cities he crosses and their urban landscapes. In a poetic or nostalgic way, he immortalizes, often in black and white, skyscrapers, bridges or parks, thus plunging us into cultural and architectural contrasts. The quality and depth of his photos have earned him exhibitions in many galleries around the world.
Some of his photos have a historical reputation, such as that of the Brooklyn Bridge at the bottom of Manhattan with the 2 towers of the World Trade Center.
