The Monograph, published in November 2019, presents paintings and illustrations of ancient, mythological, and fantastical worlds inspired by classical painting and 20th-century imagery. The Studies offer insight into the “mechanics” behind each of Julien Delval’s visions: sketches, compositional explorations, reflections, and travel journals…

A painter and illustrator of great talent, Julien Delval has created a unique body of work that continues to grow in stature. Éditions Caurette, in collaboration with the Daniel Maghen Gallery and Franck Achard, launched a crowdfunding campaign in June 2019 to bring to life two luxurious books dedicated to Julien Delval. The first will showcase his most spectacular paintings in detail, while the second will offer a glimpse into his countless sketchbooks, drawings, and studies.
