Ideal for an art collection or for decorating a contemporary interior, this rare piece is sure to appeal to collectors of fine-art prints and engravings of high artistic value.

Style and atmosphere:
Influenced by Scandinavian Expressionism and Art Brut, the style of Patrick Wolff (born 1929) is a celebration of pictorial power and spontaneity. This work radiates a striking vital energy, brought to life by the contrast between the luminous silhouette of the rider and a vibrant, almost volcanic, red background. The clean, primitive lines capture the visceral connection and timeless fervor shared by the horse and rider.

Lithographic technique:
This print on fine art paper (vellum) demonstrates an exceptional mastery of layering. The textured background mimics the splatters found in Expressionist painting, lending a unique relief and depth to the print.
