Original lithograph by Sacha Sosno depicting a classical face partially obscured between two vertical columns.
A powerful graphic work that perfectly embodies the artist’s emblematic concept of obliteration: concealing to better reveal.

26.37 x 19.68 inches (67 x 50 cm), in very good condition, unsigned. A composition in brown, black, and white with great expressive force, featuring the energetic and nervous lines typical of Sosno.

A major figure of the Nice School and Nouveau Réalisme, Sacha Sosno (1937-2013) is internationally renowned for his art of obliteration. By partially obscuring the classical face between these two massive columns, he plays with perception, emptiness, and presence, inviting the viewer to complete the work with their own gaze. A poetic and conceptual piece that engages in a dialogue with classical sculpture while remaining profoundly contemporary.

Ideal for collectors of contemporary French art, original prints, and works from the Nice School. This striking and graphic lithograph will find its place in both a modern interior and a more classic collection.

Shipping: The lithograph is sold unframed, carefully rolled in tissue paper, placed in a tube, and then in a box to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. A tracking number and signature will be required upon delivery.
