Vallauris from Massier to Picasso is special issue no. 12 of the art magazine L’Estampille / L’Objet d’Art, published in 1995 by Éditions Faton under the direction of Jeanne Faton-Boyancé. Text in French. This 22 x 28 cm paperback magazine with a glossy cover, richly illustrated with color photographs and in very good condition, traces the history of artistic ceramics in Vallauris in the Alpes-Maritimes region: from the pioneering tradition of the Massier family (notably Delphin Massier) at the end of the 19th century to the arrival of Pablo Picasso between 1946 and 1948, his collaboration with the Madoura workshop of Suzanne and Georges Ramié, and the post-war golden age that made Vallauris the capital of modern ceramics in France.
